High performance screening system for checked baggage

Serving the needs of airport checked baggage and postal facilities, freight forwarders and other bulk screeners, the PX 1000 products handle a wide variety of packages and freight, including oversized/out-of-gauge cartons and irregularly shaped items.


THE PX 1000 IS AVAILABLE IN FOUR CONFIGURATIONS:

•  PX 1000 – single view, low conveyor

•  PX 1000 HC – single view, high conveyor

•  PX 1000 DV – dual view, low conveyor

•  PX 1000 DV HC – dual view, high conveyor


All PX 1000 systems offer imaging performance and flexibility in a one-meter tunnel. The system combines a choice of two optimal belt heights along with advanced imaging ratio, delivering high performance imaging. The PX 1000 systems save time and labor, minimizing the need for manual handling.

The PX 1000 DV and PX 1000 DV HC have a vertical geometry primary view with a horizontal secondary view module. The systems also come standard with Leidos’ latest high current X-ray source. The combination of vertical geometry and the high-powered tank deliver high penetration, image resolution and quality to facilitate the operator’s ability to rapidly detect multiple targets including weapons, narcotics, and other contraband.

With optional multi-language support, operators can interact with a system that speaks their native language.

RADIATION SAFETY

All Leidos X-ray systems are in full compliance with all international radiation safety requirements and external emissions limits. Typical leakage radiation at 10cm is less than 0.1 mR/hr source.
