LEIDOS PX 1800 (180180) PALLETIZED FREIGHT AND CARGO X-RAY SYSTEMS

Accurate screening of palletized freight

Designed as a freight screening solution for air cargo, Leidos’ PX 1800 products can also be used in other environments, such as seaports, warehouses, manufacturing centres, and military bases.

THE PX 1800 IS AVAILABLE IN TWO CONFIGURATIONS:

•  PX 1800 – single view, low conveyor

•  PX 1800-DV – dual view, low conveyor

PX 1800 systems reduce the need to unpack contents for inspection, accelerating screening of consolidated cargo in skids and pallets, while maintaining a high level of security. With high-powered scanning, convenient operator controls and real time image manipulation, operators have the information and tools needed to visually facilitate identification of weapons, drugs, and misrepresented goods. They also include a heavy-duty conveyor with narrow pitch rollers designed to facilitate loading and unloading of pallets via a forklift.

Compared to smaller and less powerful X-ray systems, the network ready PX 1800 can reduce the number of pallets and skids that need to be broken down for screening, improving the efficiency of the inspection process. By maintaining the integrity of more consolidated freight, the system makes it easier to confirm the contents of a shipment, detect tampering and facilitate secure storage.

The optional Threat Image Projection (TIP) feature enhances Operator proficiency. Leidos ensures outstanding penetration and image  quality by single or dual 200 kV X-ray sources.

APPLICATIONS

• Visual threat detection
