The iD Top is a state-of-the-art integrated overhead security tag reader using RFID technology. It can easily be mounted to a door frame or suspended from the ceiling. No complex wiring or changes to your store layout are required.
To meet the needs and standards of today’s store design, Nedap has developed the iD Top - a discrete, ceiling mounted RFID based electronic article surveillance
(EAS) solution that reduces shrinkage, improves product availability and can also cover wide entrances. This makes it an the ideal EAS solution for suitable retail stores.
Open store entrances
The iD Top is a state-of-the-art integrated RFID reader that can easily be mounted to the ceiling - using almost invisible steel cables or a standard VESA mount.
Its elegant, compact design blends into every store, keeping the entrance of the store wide open. The iD Top can be used stand-alone as RFID-based EAS system or as an RFID upgrade to existing traditional EAS systems.
Out-of-the-box RFID solution
Even if a retailer is not implementing a full RFID system yet, store staff can simply attach pre-programmed RFIDhard tags to the merchandise and use the iD Top for EASpurposes without any software integration.The out-of-the-box character makes it an optimal first stepwith RFID, because the iD Top can easily be integratedinto any total RFID solution in the future.
