Designed to suit the needs of airports, correctional facilities, embassies and hotels, the PX 640 scans bags, briefcases, backpacks, packages, and other small to medium-sized, hand carried objects. High-definition imaging and material discrimination by color coding, helps enable operators to visually detect a range of threats and items of interest including weapons and narcotics.
THE PX 640 IS AVAILABLE IN FOUR CONFIGURATIONS:
• PX 640 – single view (optional ECAC LEDS)
• PX 640 DV – dual view (optional ECAC EDSCB C1 and LEDS)
• PX 640a – compact single view
• PX 640a DV – compact dual view
The PX 640 DV automated X-ray system blends Leidos’ proven explosives detection with high-clarity imaging. It can automatically pinpoint explosives and other potential threats, allowing operators to examine possible threats quickly and attentively.
For space restricted areas, the PX 640a delivers high performance, lighter and more compact systems, with the ability to provide increased speed and flexibility of deployment.

RADIATION SAFETY
All Leidos X-ray systems are in full compliance with all international radiation safety requirements and external emissions limits. Typical leakage radiation at 10cm is less than 0.1 mR/hr source.
