Gilardoni FEP ME CARGO 180180 X-ray Cargo Inspection System
Gilardoni offers CARGO solutions for customers that need to check bulky goods. The tunnel dimensions reach 180x180cm with an above average penetration power, achieved with a generator operating at 200Kv. These large systems are suitable for airport environments as well as for shipping companies.
The CARGO, which can be single or dual view, is a state-of-the-art machine, powerful and reliable. It has been completely redesigned, and it is now the go-to system for the most demanding customers.
SECURITY TECHNOLOGY
The new FEP ME CARGO is a multi-energy X-ray system suitable for screening goods on pallets up to 3000kg. It has one 200kV X-ray source and a large inspection tunnel opening of 180cm x 180cm.
The FEP ME CARGO allows detection of organic materials (including explosives and drugs), and of weapons, detonators and dangerous objects representing threats to security.
Multi-energy technology allows the screen to display the nature of different materials inside the inspected objects using a chromatic code. Organic materials are represented in colour ORANGE, metal ones in BLUE, other inorganic materials in GREEN and non-penetrable materials in BLACK.
Operation of the machine is simple and intuitive. A powerful generator and the quality of the Full HD monitor, which displays high definition images, simplify the operator’s job.
Thanks to the new modular structure of the new CARGO system it is possible to upgrade from a single view to a dual view system even at a later time through the simple addition of a second generator (view from the top) and a second Full HD monitor.
