SMITHS HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX Smith CT Hand Luggage Scanning System
Product Introduction
The HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX provides advanced screening of carry on luggage using computed tomography (CT). It can provide a very high level of explosive detection and also scan luggage without removing electronic devices and liquids, accelerating inspection speed and optimizing security checkpoint performance.
When luggage is transported on the conveyor belt, the CT gantry will rotate at a constant speed. The rack rotates around the luggage while taking hundreds of views from slightly different angles, and then reassembles the raw data in real-time into volumetric 3D images. The collected comprehensive data can be used for more accurate measurement of luggage items and make extremely accurate judgments.
HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX can be integrated with iCMORE automatic hazardous material detection.
Obtained ECAC EDS CB C3 approval from the European Civil Aviation Conference.
Obtained TSA AT-2 certification from the United States Transportation Security Administration.
